Kassassin Street – Do or Die | Single Review

Kassassin Street has been an act to keep a close eye on over the past year. Since coming onto the scene with a strong set of debut tracks in the form of ‘To Be Young’ and ‘Radio Silence’, these guys have been tipped to be one of the brightest sparks in British music. Their first release of 2016 – ‘Hand In My Pocket’ – grooved its way into the heart and now the band have followed up with new single Do or Die, another slice of electronic-disco to sink your hips into.

Strong basslines set the scene for the listener to start dancing, as subtle synths shroud the background in a rigid trance of dance while drums do their thang and guitars contribute riffs that punch the face. This off-kilter, robotic groove glitches its way through the airwaves, while the vocals meander in-between to deliver simple hooks and reasons to get into the music.

Do or Die is another solid track from Kassassin Street. These guys have been riding the wave of good releases since their birth, and it seems that it’ll carry over into 2017 too. Very excited to hear more from these guys, they are gonna be big.
