Boogie Board – ‘Tune Out’ | Track Review

Boogie Board is the project of Chicago man Steve Denning, and this is his new single ‘Tune Out’ from his debut album Surf N Turf. I’m a huge fan of all things boogie, surf AND turf so for something like this to drop in my inbox is a dream come true.

Featuring the basslines of all great surf rock tunes, ‘Tune Out’ is a song that offers a great time by the seaside. The bassline is accompanied with seriously scuzzy guitar riffs that flood the airwaves with their own personal set of waves that seemingly spill out into the open, while Mr. Denning’s vocals drawl all over like foam along the coast line. It’s an upbeat, fun little song and one that’s guaranteed to get you thinking you’re on a surfboard, wet and ready to boogie.
