Change is Gonna Come is the debut EP from Sheffield’s The Harringtons. Having formed in 2014 at just the tender age of sixteen, this trio are set to join the ranks of the north’s greatest with a collection of tracks determined to make you enjoy the finer things in life. ‘Everybody Knows’ kicks off the EP with a sound that bounces around the eardrums with upbeat guitar riffs and sing-a-long harmonies that anyone could join in to. See what I mean? It’s hard not to kick off the EP with a smile on your face.

‘Scootch’ follows with an equally appealing sound, really driving home the trio’s knack for delivering serious grooves into the mix. Up next comes ‘Made’ which is…made up with a flurry of pure Indie riffs and melodies, projecting a more emotive vibe in the lyrics before the EP closes out with ‘Carry You Home’ – an anthem about the struggle of having to help you the one friend who’s gotten a little too drunk. I’ve been in that situation many times.

The Harringtons have got themselves a solid set of songs here. Change is Gonna Come is a superb EP and a great way to show yourself off to the masses. All four tracks showcase the guys’ talent is listening to the music around them and producing something that’s equally catchy throughout. Nice work guys.
