Fann & Dave Audé – ‘Shiny Things’ | Single Review

Sometimes we need to be told to lighten up a little bit. It’s so easy to get caught up in the mundane parts of life that we allow it to manifest and irk our little souls. Working in an office means this happens to me all the time, and then I listen to songs such as Fann & Dave Audé’s ‘Shiny Things’ and realise that hey, Jane forgetting to shut up is really not that big of a deal. Bloody Jane.

Right from the get go ‘Shiny Things’ kicks off with a shimmering lead beat that immediately brightens your day followed by a wall of drums and synths that seem very determined to bat the clouds away from the bright sky. Emerging artist Fann leads the way with a very positive vocal performance and it all just makes for some very nice sunshine listening. It’s a very promising start for Fann who looks set to kick off her career with her own set of songs soon, but for now, these little collabs are doing the job nicely.
