Annalia – ‘Dust’ | Single Review

‘Dust’ is the new single from Annalia, which is set to start the clock for the release of her debut EP which should be around sometime this spring. EXCITING. The track’s all about needing a validation of feelings in a relationship, which is true, actually. Sometimes after eating a lot of food I lean back, bloated belly out in full, and ask my other half if she still loves me. Sometimes she’ll say yes, and I go back to being content forever.

With swirling synths and funk-filled riffs, ‘Dust’ is a wonderful song. It’s effortlessly catchy and very easy to listen to, while also being full of layers that seem to make this song fresh with each play. I get some serious Carly Rae Jepsen vibes from this and that’s a very good thing indeed. It’s great.
