Sunday Arches – ‘Holding A Flame’ | Single Review

‘Holding A Flame’ is the latest single to come from Sunday Arches, a four piece from somewhere very close to home. YUP, these guys are from Essex, and have fortunately never had to experience the eighth wonder of the world known as Basildon Bus Station. I’m a little jealous, but this single, and their new EP Feels Like Home, is dead good, so it’s okay.

With ridiculously catchy guitar riffs taking me back to the days where Indie dominated the charts, ‘Holding A Flame’ is a storming way to get acquainted to Sunday Arches. I really like the continuous tempo it has, as it brings some proper energy into the mix and really helps the song pop as a solid Indie hit. It’s got all of the hooks and lines to make you sink, and it’s just really really good.
