Betty Moon – ‘Parachute’ | Single Review

‘Parachute’ is the new single from Betty Moon, and is the latest single to come from her EIGHTH studio album Chrome. EIGHT albums? Goodness me. That is serious talent to still create music that even lures me in this far into a career. Nice work Betty.

With a nice combination of Rock and Funk, ‘Parachute’ is a track that easily sinks into the mind due to it’s undeniable accessibility. The rolling drums pair up with the walking bassline to deliver a rhythm section that heads straight for the dancefloor, while the guitars lay down all manner of hard hitting riffage to a add a touch of grit to the mix. Betty’s vocals croon their way over the layers with an assortment of hooks to ensure you have no chance in forgetting about this song. It’s dead good.
