Good Sounds Playlist | Sombre Storm

Welcome back to the Good Sounds Playlist! How was your weekend? Did you manage to get all those errands done and have a sufficient amount of sleep? Good. We’re really glad. Thank you for enjoying last week’s playlist (Ecstasy Queen). Now here’s another round of exciting, eclectic music to sink your teeth into.

Thank you to Grace-Attalie for the name of this week’s playlist, “Sombre Storm” is the closing track on her Polluted EP which we will be featuring on Friday (spoilers: it’s IMMENSE). Sombre Storm features two hard hitting tracks from Populuxe and Giant Rooks, a gorgeously Fleet Foxes-y track from Verluna, and the sickest feature from Andre 3000 in James Blake’s “Where’s The Catch?”

As well as this, we’ve also got some seriously smooth numbers involved too. Ruben Young, Sam Setton, Laville and Scarlett Taylor are responsible for bringing one of the best sounding midsections since ourselves pre-spending 90% of our wage on fast food. Hamitr also chimes in with some similar croons with “Dinero” whilst ISA drops a hard hitting Pop GEM in the form of “Craving”. Let’s also not forget about the chilled vibes of Astralingua’s “Space Blues”. We’re craving for more, that’s for sure. Thank you guys for bringing good music and good vibes to the Good Sounds Playlist this week!
