Local lads BILK drop new single | “CM2”

BILK return with new single “CM2”. The trio from Essex are very local to us, and their new tune details the frustrations of being bored in their hometown of Chelmsford. Not gonna lie Chelmo isn’t the most hype of places, but BILK make us proud to be part of this boring little county.

Mundane lyricism about Tesco meal deals and week old sandwiches is backed by arguably the most entertaining instrumental in a genius pairing that could rival the combination of a Triple Sandwich with a Smoothie and a packet of Doritos Chili Heatwave. “CM2” is a frantic, chaotic dose of youthful enthusiasm backed up with gritty guitars and passionate vocals that combines humour with fear. Nothing captures the thrill of making a good Meal Deal quite like this.
