London Sextet Famous Revel at Jack’s Gaffe with New Single ¦ “Jack’s House”

Famous are described as a London Tainted-Pop Sextet and this is their new single “Jack’s House”. With their debut mini-album England looming, these boys wish to introduce your mind to their chaotic sound and fancy taking your eyes for a spin too. The music video? Oh man. TRIPPY.

This track does not mess about. A Swans-esque mood is set immediately as murky drums combine with cold bass notes against Jack Merrett’s vocals which already sound unhinged, certainly bringing a touch of unease to the airwaves. Rabid strums of guitars ring through the song, as additional shots of synths signify the downward spiral that seems inevitable by this point. “Jack’s House” is mad with flashes of groove, but definitely warrants being accompanied by an adult.  We wouldn’t necessarily want to have a sleepover, but we’d definitely want to lose our minds having an all-nighter at Jack’s house.
