Sea Girls ¦ return with new single “Violet”

Sea Girls have had one hell of a year. Kicking it off with a spot on BBC’s Sound of 2019 list and performing some of their biggest gigs to date, they’ve also signed a deal with Polydor Records. New single “Violet” was dropped prior to their performance at Reading & Leeds Festival, and it is an absolute whirlwind akin to their momentous year.

“Violet” signifies a big change of pace from Sea Girls. Snappy drums and sparkling synths coincide with lyricism of pure adoration for a lady named Violet to immediately fill the atmosphere with ecstasy. Its chorus is a glorious display of guitars and hooks, and it’s something that’s impossible to dislike. This is a serious injection of energy from Sea Girls, and we’re feeling the love as much as they are.
