Welcome to this week’s roundup of the Good Sounds Playlist. As it’s a new month, we’ve decided to do a complete revamp of the playlist. A lot of research has been made over the last couple of weeks to gain a better knowledge of the potential of having a really strong playlist and while the support shown towards ours has been immense over the last two years, we feel it’s time to try and take it to the next level.
A new logo & featured image has been designed to provide a much cleaner look. This will be translated to our Instagram posts & stories (check us out on Instagram) in order to continue thanking each featured artist, but in a way that looks a lot nicer. Another significant change is that all of the songs included will remain on the playlist for a month instead than just a week. This not only increases the outreach of artists to new listeners but also allows the Good Sounds to last all day, rather than one hour. Happy ears all round.
Finally, Sounds Good is happy to have joined Musosoup, a website that provides a bridge between artists and writers that puts them on a bit more of an equal footing, allowing both parties to work out features in a more collaborative way. If you’re not already on Musosoup, then come and take a look around. As well as this, you can also find us on SubmitHub, or even drop us an email directly via our contact page.
This is exciting times and something that we hope continues to celebrate good music and good vibes, always. Thank you to Susie for providing the inspiration behind this week’s title. “Bummer Summer” is certainly apt considering how crap the weather has been lately. It’s given us the sniffles. We hate the sniffles. Anyway, now that all of the gubbins have been discussed, please enjoy this week’s Good Sounds Playlist! If you like what you hear and reckon you have many pairs of ears who’d also enjoy it, give it a share. Let’s all be friends. Also congratulations to Jay Madera for the release of his debut single “Curb Appeal”. Well in, lad.
