Good Sounds Playlist / Fleeting Dance

Hello! Welcome to this week’s roundup post of the Good Sounds Playlist. Apologies for the brief break last week – life’s been a little busy, but all signs of a burgeoning social life are seemingly running dry again. Yay! How you been? Are you drinking enough water?

This week’s roundup is called Fleeting Dance after the new single from Alexandra Lost. Its elongated, disco-tinged intro really resonated with me, so I felt it’d be perfect to kick off the playlist. Looking at the other picks, Mura Masa’s new album R.Y.C. has become a new favourite and “Deal Wiv It” has become my new running song. It also leads nicely into the flurry of noise that become the new singles from The Strandz, FANGZ and Wave Break.

As Valentine’s Day is approaching quickly, the middle block of songs from Neon Tapehead, The Golden Age of TV, King Kartel and Jesse Merineau provides the perfect soundtrack to an evening of wining, dining and crying. This is rounded up by the sweet tunes of Neverman, Fruitz and Wolfjay, capping off what I feel is a very solid week of new music. I hope you enjoy the Good Sounds Playlist. If you do, then please do consider following it on Spotify and sharing it with all your favourite people. See you next week!
