Flat Moon – ‘Enough’ / New Single

“The result is a listen that slaps hard and grooves defiantly, and I want all of it.”

Leeds’ Flat Moon return with new single ‘Enough’. Having introduced themselves to the world with ‘Vultures’ this year, this five-piece band are beginning to deliver their extreme blend of classic funk and modern rock to the masses. I love a bit of funk, and like it even more when it’s thrusted into my face aggressively. Fuck yeah, dude. Give it to me.

Channelling their frustration towards animosity, Flat Moon create a storming hit with ‘Enough’. Traditionally sketchy guitars deliver riffs straight from the 70s but are quickly injected with pure power as they collide against thunderous drums. You can feel the anger pulsing through the instrumental as it batters the eardrums with riff after riff. It is chaotic, crushing and yet so groovy. It absolutely has the authority to shut up anybody it wants. Like a certain loser…

…’Enough’ is a superb song from Flat Moon. It showcases their sound brilliantly. Bringing the accessibility of Funk and throwing it through the jagged mind of Garage Rock. The result is a listen that slaps hard and grooves defiantly, and I want all of it.
