Hiya – welcome to this week’s roundup of the Good Sounds Playlist. Twelve new songs have been added and they are ready to be consumed by your lovely ears. I talk about ears a lot on this blog. Hopefully it doesn’t come across as too strange. I actually had hearing issues as a child so you’d think ears would be the least featured feature. Anyway, odd tangent explored, let’s move on to the playlist!
‘Throwaway Lines’ is the new single from The Blam Blams. It’s a song that rightfully injects some glam into the bloodstream, offering jangly pianos with soaring vocals that really sits right in my happy place. St. Buryan also return with the summery, mammoth-sounding ‘How Could I Know?’ (full review here) and Inego’s ‘I Need Your Love’ is absolutely the song that’ll be defining the summer for me.
They are merely three of twelve amazing artists featured on the Good Sounds Playlist this week. There’s a solid chunk of funk and glam, but there’s also a creeping slice of heavy distortion towards the end too. Greg Puciato’s ‘Deep Set’ in particular is sure to drive me forward on my next few attempts at running.
As always, thank you for listening to the Good Sounds Playlist. The number of followers climbs steadily each week, so if you could contribute to that momentum by giving the playlist a follow, that would be very much appreciated.
