The Great Escape provide endlessly good possibilities with new single | “Possibilities”

Let’s get sexy for a moment. “Possibilities” is the new single from The Great Escape, the latest offering from the Venice trio’s upcoming album Pulsing Synchronicity. It introduces our ears to the band’s new, minimalist sound and does so in such a seductive manner, we’re hoping for a second date sometime soon.

Vibes of The Doors kick off the song with a sultry bassline sinking into the hips, remaining low to the ground, rigid against the drums. Hanna Leess’s vocals are so breathy that it leaves us feeling a little breathless, especially as she delivers a performance that’s smooth, playful and definitely knowing what it’s doing to us. The minimal guitars do a brilliant job of dropping the occasional lick or spiralling wall of noise throughout, and the result is a song that basically leaves us to say that the possibilities are endless. We’re not gonna be sorry for whatever happens tonight.
