Soft Wax shines with debut single | ‘Dreaming’

‘Dreaming’ is the debut single from Soft Wax, a quartet from the lovely area of Kent who are now giving my eardrums a reason to go mental with glee. What’s the last dream you remember having? I had a dream the other night that it was my birthday, but I discovered that perhaps halfway through the day, and then at the end it turned out it was never my birthday in the first place. A right rollercoaster of emotions is what I felt, and never asked for. Infact, I never asked for anything, because it’s November.

Anyway…’Dreaming’ is a wonderful little Indie tune that’s packed with a drum beat that endlessly bops into the sky whilst guitars lay down warm, sun-kissed melodies to ramp up the cosy feeling Soft Wax have curated thus far. There are little flits of basslines in the background, and I love the occasional burst of energy that bursts out of the instrumental too. Soft Wax have made me join in with the eardrums in having a right old session of glee, and I’m excited to hear more from them.
